Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the 2nd Grade Religious Education Class could not gather to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and 1st Holy Communion until...September 5,2020 (usually celebrated on the first Saturday morning in May).

It was a perfect September day. The church was beautifully decorated with the children's banners and flowers.Their handprints were placed on a white cloth near the altar for everyone to see.   

Father Charles spoke to the children with words that they could understand and conveyed to them the gravity, essence and power of the sacrament; that Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist and is within them. 

God bless all the children of the RE Program and their parents as we embark on another year of faith formation!
